Nyangatja kapi piti tjuta ka ini Mamupiti ka wamala pukanu palatja nguranguru ka Punuwaralakutu alinytjara ka wamala tjana Anangu army alatji kaya Palpatjatawanu munu Tatunyawanu ka ngura palatja wati liruku ngura ka wati kutju nyinanyi ngaltultjara.

This painting is depicting the place called Mamupiti. This is where the wamala, a powerfull group of Anangu men who have been likened to an 'army', started their journey north to a special place called Punuwara.

As the men moved northward they passed through the country of Palpatjata and Tatunya where the snake man resides all alone, a sad situation.
